SinuScript

SinuScript delivers natural support for acute and chronic sinusitis, post-nasal drip and allergies.

A significant percentage of the population is affected by allergies, sinusitis and rhinitis, and although not a life-threatening condition, it can nevertheless be very debilitating to sinus sufferers, affecting quality of life and productivity.

Sinusitis is a major cause of work and school absenteeism, and is also one of the leading conditions worldwide for which antibiotics are prescribed.

Over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription antihistamine medications are effective for symptom relief, but they can cause side effects such as drowsiness and nausea. As a result, some people wish to try natural alternatives.

SinuScript has been carefully formulated to include a synergistic combination of natural ingredients to provide a more natural alternative for the management of the symptoms of both acute and chronic sinusitis as well as allergies.

Indications:

  • Allergic rhinitis relief.
  • Acute and chronic sinusitis support.
  • Improve nasal and respiratory tract health.
  • Maintain healthy sinus passages.
  • Reduce post nasal drip and nasal congestion.
  • Cold and flu support.

SinuScript combines ingredients to form a four-step approach in supporting both healthy sinus passages and nasal mucosa:

1. Natural anti-histamine
Quercetin is a plant derived bioflavonoid and just like vitamin C, cannot be produced by the body. Quercetin and vitamin C have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and provide allergy relief. Quercetin inhibits the release of histamine from basophils, thus inhibiting inflammation and provides relief from the symptoms of sinusitis and hay fever.

Quercetin also makes mast cells less reactive to the antigens that cause allergies, and has the ability to inhibit mast cell degranulation and subsequent release of histamine.

Vitamin C also increases detoxification of histamine.

It is very important to note the addition of bromelain to the formula, this potentiates the quercetin, which is normally poorly absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract – A fact which renders most other quercetin formulas to be ineffective.

Magnesium Ascorbate separates into ascorbic acid and magnesium in the blood and tissues. Magnesium serves to activate bromelain, and acts as a natural calcium channel blocker. This is important since the entry of calcium into mast cells and basophils are a key part of triggering histamine release and subsequent allergic reactions.

2. Natural anti-inflammatory
Quercetin and bromelain are synergistic in suppressing the inflammation of allergic reactions, as well as in reducing general nasal congestion, sinus pain, and mucous production.
Bromelain acts as a natural anti-inflammatory to generally reduce the swelling in sinus passages and therefore offers relief by assisting in drainage.

3. Natural antimicrobial
Goldenseal
due to its hydrastine and berberine content, acts as a natural antimicrobial showing both bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity against a wide range of bacteria, and antifungal activity, which can all be compounding factors in chronic sinusitis. Goldenseal also soothes and reduces inflammation in mucous membranes.

4. Natural decongestant
Quercetin and bromelain act together to reduce nasal congestion due to their anti-inflammatory actions. This anti-inflammatory support reduces the pain, and decreases viscosity of nasal mucosal secretions and assists in the drainage of the sinus passages.

Goldenseal will reduce catarrhal states of the mucous membranes when accompanied by acute inflammation.

Each of the above-mentioned substances all have significant anti-allergy, anti-catarrhal and anti-inflammatory activity, but in combination as SinuScript, have a far more powerful synergistic action for the acute and chronic support of the sinus and nasal passages.

FAQ

Is SinuScript only for individuals with allergies?

No. While highly effective for allergic rhinitis, SinuScript also supports relief from nasal congestion associated with colds, flu, and sinus inflammation.

How does SinuScript support sinus and allergy relief?

SinuScript combines natural antihistamine activity with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and drainage-supporting ingredients. This multi-pathway approach helps reduce congestion, swelling, and histamine-driven symptoms.

How does quercetin in SinuScript help with sinus and allergy symptoms?

Quercetin stabilises mast cells and helps prevent histamine release. This reduces inflammation, sneezing, itching, and congestion.

Why is bromelain included in the formula?

Bromelain enhances quercetin absorption and provides anti-inflammatory support. It can also help reduce mucosal swelling and promote sinus drainage.

What role does vitamin C play in SinuScript?

Vitamin C helps detoxify histamine within the body, reducing overall histamine load and supporting symptom improvement.

Why is magnesium included, and what form is used?

SinuScript contains magnesium as magnesium ascorbate, which supports bromelain activity and serves as a natural calcium-channel blocker – reducing calcium influx into mast cells and helping limit histamine release.

What is the purpose of goldenseal in SinuScript?

Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) contains berberine and hydrastine, providing antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial effects. These help reduce infectious contributors to sinusitis and support clearer sinus passages.

Is SinuScript effective for both acute and chronic sinusitis?

Yes. It supports both short-term flare-ups and chronic sinusitis by reducing inflammation, addressing microbial load, and improving sinus drainage.

How quickly can I expect symptom relief with SinuScript?

• Acute allergic rhinitis or congestion: Some people experience relief within a few hours.

• Chronic sinusitis: More consistent improvement is typically noticeable after several days to one week of regular use.

Will SinuScript make me drowsy?

No. The natural ingredients in SinuScript do not have sedating effects.

What should I do if I forget to take a dose?

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next scheduled dose is near, skip the missed one and continue your regular routine. Do not take a double dose.

Can SinuScript be used with conventional medications such as antihistamines or nasal sprays?

Generally, yes - however, speak to your doctor first. Because SinuScript also supports natural antihistamine activity, there may be additive effects.

Why is SinuScript not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Due to limited safety data and the presence of active botanical ingredients – such as quercetin and goldenseal – it is recommended to avoid SinuScript during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless under medical supervision.Â
